It is such an honor to provide our senior community a delicious lunch and networking every third Thursday of the month. This is a time where the senior citizens get together and fellowship over a meal and great company.
FACT: The rate of hunger among seniors aged 60 and older has increased by 45% since 2001, a lingering effect of the 2008-09 recession. At the current rate, the number of food-insecure seniors may grow to more than 8 million by 2050. And hunger pains can be increasingly painful as we age. Join us every month as Orleans Bistro & Grill prepares and serve our senior Community!
ABWA - Women Inspiring Women Leaders – Fredericksburg Chapter
Fredericksburg is seeking to start our very own chapter of ABWA. We currently have 10 women who have joined our chapter and we are looking to reach the required number of thirty to Charter. The mission of the American Business Women’s Association is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition. Come out May 22nd 6:30 pm for networking and to hear our Guest Speaker. Dinner will be provided.
